Submission Terms and Conditions
The National Scouting Museum is collecting your story to add to our archives for research and exhibit purposes. Your participation will allow researchers and museum visitors to gain a greater perspective on the Scouting experience.
You must be 13 years of age or older to submit material to us. Your submission of material constitutes your permission for, and consent to, its dissemination and use in connection with the National Scouting Museum and it website. If you have so indicated on the form, your material may be published on the website or in conjunction with a museum exhibit (with or without your name, depending on what you have selected). Otherwise, your response will only be available to approved researchers in the National Scouting Museum's archives. The material you submit must have been created by you, wholly original, and shall not be copied from or based, in whole or in part, upon any other photographic, literary, or other material.
By submitting material to the National Scouting Museum you release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless the museum and persons acting under its permission or authority from any claims or liability arising out of the museums use of the material, including, without limitation, claims for violation of privacy, defamation, or misrepresentation.
The museum has no obligation to use your material.
We cannot return any material you submit to us so be sure to keep your own copy. The museum will not share your email address or any other information with commercial vendors.
